How has the grant of Young Estonian Jewellery Foundation influenced your creative path?
The grant nourished my artistic ego. I started to feel responsibility for my creation and also that I should – maybe – continue to develop my ambitions.  
What are you doing and where are you working at the moment?
I am a freelance artist, doctoral student and visiting teacher at the Estonian Academy of Arts. I continue to produce works of art with the same pace as in earlier years.  
What do your hands speak about in 2020?  
When my arts moved themselves in 2020, also the thought moved, and it was followed by a line of ants. They crawled over quartz stones, pearlshells and malachite veins. Where were they going? When the ants reached the calcite cave, the skin was already waiting. They formed a line around the neck and bit the skin, all together.   
”Wow!” — the cave echoed. “Although I am made of letters and words, I’m still alive!”  — she shouted to the ants and turned them into a necklace.  This was the birth of Seraphita — the witch, who can turn thoughts into jewellery. I write, read, 3D model, solder, make exhibitions and perform rites with jewellery. #hapticvisuality #C21magic #digitalmateriality — these are my main spells in 2020. In my Doctoral thesis I study the influence of tactile interaction of jewellery on the viewer through video.

Kuidas mõjutas Noore Ehte Fondi stipendium Sinu loomingulist käekäiku? 
See stipendium tegi pai minu kunstnikuegole. Hakkasin tundma vastutust oma loomingu eest ning ka seda, et peaksin – võib-olla – jätkama oma ambitsioonide arendamisega.  
Millega praegu tegeled, kus töötad?  
Olen vabakutseline kunstnik, doktorant ja külalisõppejõud Eesti Kunstiakadeemias. Jätkan tööde valmistamisega samas tempos kui varasematel aastatel.  
Millest kõnelevad Su käed aastal 2020? 
Kui mu käed end aastal 2020 liigutasid, liikus ka mõte, ja sellele järgnes sipelgate rida.   
Nad roomasid üle kvartskivide, pärlikarpide ja malahhiitveenide. Kuhu olid nad minemas?  
Kui sipelgad jõudsid kaltsiitkoopasse, oli nahk seal juba ootamas. Nad moodustasid kaela ümber joone ja hammustasid nahka, kõik koos.   
”Oi!” — kajas koopas. “Ehkki ma koosnen tähtedest ja sõnadest, olen ma endiselt elus!”  — hüüatas ta sipelgatele ja muutis need kaelakeeks.  Nõnda sündis Seraphita — nõid, kes suudab mõtted eheteks muuta.
